A leading aerospace company in Singapore is looking for a Lead Engineer to focus on the repair development of Aircraft Jet Engine components. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering problem-solving skills and over 5 years of experience in mechanical design or repair technology of gas turbine components. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of repair technologies and may include relocation assistance. Lead Engineer - Repair Development is responsible for repair development of Aircraft Jet Engine components at GE Aviation Engine Services Singapore.
This job includes all activities relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and other performance parameters. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

An ideal candidate has strong engineering problem-solving skills and expertise in at least one of the following areas: repair development (such as creating new repair procedures, applying advanced manufacturing technologies, or utilizing material science innovations) or mechanical design (such as stress analysis, structural integrity evaluation, or mechanical failure analysis) of gas turbine components
