Seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Lab Officer to support semiconductor lab operations in a non-cleanroom environment

The Opportunity
  • Our client, Government-affiliated Science Agency
  • Working Location: Kent Ridge
  • Basic Salary: Up to $3,200 (commensurate with experience)
  • Working hours: Tues - Sat, Day & Afternoon shifts (With shift allowance)
  • Training provided (Training on day shift)
  • 10 months contract (Subjected to renewal/conversion)
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate CSAM (C-mode Scanning Acoustic Microscopy) tools to inspect semiconductor chips using ultrasound technology
  • Prepare chip samples for SCM (Scanning Capacitance Microscopy) analysis
  • Conduct SCM operations to analyze electrical charge distribution in semiconductor layers
  • Perform polishing of chip samples to ensure smooth surfaces for imaging and testing
  • Operate electrical probe stations to verify chip performance
  • Follow lab protocols and testing methods accurately
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields
  • Willingness to learn and perform manual, hands-on tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and patience
  • Comfortable working in a lab-based (non-cleanroom) environment
