Job description

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware and apparatus, both manually as well as by using machine(s).
• Clear general waste
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping of the lab including fume cupboards, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, sweeping, and mopping of floors.
• Prepare cleaning solutions (detergents) and refill solvent bottles
• Operate simple equipment
• Assist in preparing materials and containers for use in casework.
• Basic administrative duties such as monitoring of the temperature of refrigerators and freezers etc.
