Job summary

A culinary establishment in Singapore is looking for a Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure high standards of quality and hygiene. Qualifications

  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience as a chef.
  • Completed the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course – Food Safety Course Levels 1 and 2.
  • Proven ability of kitchen management.
  • Good understanding of computer software such as POS, restaurant management system, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance for kitchen operations ensuring food hygiene and quality.
  • Controls food preparation process efficiently and professionally.
  • Hires, manages, trains, and educates kitchen workers to meet standards.
  • Manages inventory and ensures minimal wastage.
  • Supervises subordinates and maintains high food production standards.
