Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Business Development
Manage and grow sales performance across key modern trade accounts (FairPrice, Cheers, DFI, etc.).
Build and maintain strong business relationships with category buyers, trade marketing teams, and retail partners.
Negotiate trading terms, listing opportunities, shelf space, and promotional support with buyers to maximize visibility and profitability. - Sales Target Achievement
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor sales performance by channel and account, analyzing gaps and proposing corrective action plans.
Track competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. - Promotions & Trade Marketing
Plan, prepare, and submit promotional calendars and proposals in alignment with brand and customer objectives.
Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of promotions, product launches, and in-store campaigns.
Evaluate post-promotion results and provide insights for continuous improvement. - Merchandising & In-store Execution
Lead, coach, and manage a team of merchandisers to ensure effective shelf display, planogram compliance, and on-ground execution.
Conduct regular store visits to monitor merchandising standards, stock availability, and competitor activity.
Ensure visibility and share-of-shelf objectives are achieved in all assigned accounts. - Reporting & Administration
Prepare and analyze sales reports, promotion evaluations, and account performance reviews.
Manage budget allocations for trade spend and ensure ROI on promotional activities.
Ensure timely submission of proposals, promotional mechanics, and administrative requirements from customers.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
