Roles & Responsibilities

To provide culinary, administrative, and leadership assistance to the Head Chef. The kitchen supervisor ensures effective, efficient operation of the kitchen outlet and assumes the leadership role in the absence of the Head Chef.

Essential Functions
  • Menu planning and execution
  • Food preparation and presentation
  • Kitchen staff management and training
  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness
  • Assisting with food cost control and budgeting
  • Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef on menu development and special events
  • Filling in for the Head Chef in their absence
  • Maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment
  • Supervising line cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Managing kitchen stations and assigning tasks
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback
  • Participating in menu tastings and providing input
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendor. Ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and the quality of the food served
