Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of hardware, software, and network systems for project delivery.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Support operational systems in line with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform and manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Undertake standby duties as required.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS and Unix/Linux OS in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including:
Networking: VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches
Hardware: servers, SAN (Storage Area Networks), and NAS (Network‑Attached Storage) devices
System Services: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange/Mail, databases, and web/application servers
- Experience in system/OS hardening and patch management.
- Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Java, C++, JavaScript) is an advantage.
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome to apply; more experienced candidates may be considered for senior positions.
