A fast-growing technology company based in Singapore is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping web applications. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science and experience with Typescript, React, and Next.js. Responsibilities include technical design, ensuring system functionality in production, and migrating legacy systems. Qualifications

• Entry level engineering experience.
• Ability to perform migrations of legacy systems over to newer modern data stores safely without losing data.
• Experience working with UX designers to build delightful frontend user interfaces.
• Desire to work in an early stage, fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity.
• Excited to primarily be an individual contributor with a ton of ownership.
• Ability to work during a daily overlap of a few hours with the rest of the team (starting 14:00 UTC).
• Previous internship working at a start-up or scale-up.
• Basic understanding of legal compliance concepts related to the access of digital services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of a Next.js web application, ensuring web performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ensure that backend and frontend systems operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues.
• Migrate existing legal systems to new modern workflows while ensuring no downtime or data loss.
• Help build a positive and inclusive work culture.
