Junior Business Analyst (Banking) - 1-year renewable contract

Budget: 4500/month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Junior Business Analyst to join our team within the financial services industry. This role is ideal for someone who has strong SQL skills and is eager to work closely with business stakeholders to analyse data, improve processes, and support ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various databases.
• Prepare data-driven insights, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support the resolution of issues.
• Assist in process improvements and documentation of workflows.
• Support project managers and senior BAs in delivering key initiatives.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL – ability to write complex queries and work with large datasets.
• Experience or internship in the financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
