Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Technology Business Analyst to support the implementation and enhancement of risk and finance technology platforms within the Financial Services industry. This role will assist senior analysts and technology teams in delivering solutions for regulatory and risk-related areas such as Expected Credit Losses (ECL), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB). The Junior BA will help gather requirements, document processes, and coordinate testing activities, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Assist in collecting and documenting business requirements from Finance, Risk, and Treasury teams.
• Support the preparation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and User Stories.
• Learn and understand key concepts related to ECL, FTP, and IRRBB.

2. Analysis & Solution Support

• Help analyze current processes and identify gaps.
• Work with senior analysts and developers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Support data mapping and validation activities.

3. Testing & Implementation

• Assist in preparing test cases and coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Help prepare user guides and training materials.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and elevate issues when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within Financial Services.
• Basic understanding of banking or risk concepts (ECL, FTP, IRRBB is a plus).
• Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
