We are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting a leading banking client. This is a 12-month renewable contract role based at Changi. The developer will work on enterprise-grade applications, contributing to design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

This role is ideal for professionals with 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend and modern frontend frameworks, who enjoy end-to-end ownership and collaborating in an agile team environment.

You will be working on-site at a leading multinational bank in Singapore, supporting large-scale digital transformation projects within their technology division

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JS frameworks (React/Angular).
• Design and implement REST APIs, microservices, and secure integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong focus on unit testing and automation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Ensure application stability, scalability, and compliance with security standards.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on Java backend and frontend development experience.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs.
• Proficiency in ReactJS or Angular for UI development.
• Experience with SQL (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and database query optimization.
• Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure).
• Exposure to microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to debug and optimize performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
