About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Deployment Coordinator to support and oversee planned deployments across applications and infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a Diploma qualification, Microsoft 365 skills, and some working experience, who is keen to grow in IT deployment, release management, and change coordination. You'll work closely with clients, project leads, and technical teams to ensure deployments are well planned, well communicated, and executed smoothly with minimal disruption to services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee planned deployments, including code releases and infrastructure patches.
• Execute deployments according to agreed plans, timelines, and procedures.
• Ensure all change requests undergo proper impact assessment, including linkage to incidents/service requests and commit/release review.
• Obtain required approvals from stakeholders.
• Minimise service disruption by ensuring robust rollback plans are in place and clearly documented.
• Align and communicate release and deployment plans with all relevant parties.
• Coordinate deployment sequencing and dependencies such as code tables, APIs onboarding, and configuration changes.
• Maintain clear documentation and status tracking for deployments and changes.

Requirements

• Diploma holder in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent working experience).
• Working experience in an IT environment (applications, infrastructure, or support).
• Comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) for coordination, tracking, and communication.
