Job Purpose

The Product Manager (PM) acts as the link between business and technology, managing a medium-to-large product or product component from conception to launch. You will own the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategy while delivering operational excellence. This includes breaking down complex problems, managing resources, driving innovation, and engaging stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

Job Description
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features with business product managers and stakeholders based on value and feasibility.
  • Ensure service readiness by confirming products meet acceptance criteria, change control requirements, and quality standards.
  • Shape technology vision by leveraging DHL Express architecture, enterprise standards, and industry insights to guide innovation.
  • Oversee delivery and risk management, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring scope, quality, and resources remain on track.
  • Lead product launches and adoption, coordinating go-to-market activities and stakeholder communication.
  • Track and improve performance by analyzing metrics such as user engagement, adoption, and satisfaction, using insights for continuous improvement.
Stakeholders
  • Development Teams – clarify requirements, resolve issues, and enable smooth execution.
  • IT Leadership & Senior Management – align with strategy, report progress, and address risks.
  • Business Stakeholders – translate needs into product requirements, gather feedback, and ensure solutions meet objectives.
  • Vendors & External Partners – manage relationships, contracts, and quality of services or data.
  • Cross-functional & Regional Teams – ensure consistency, share insights, and support adoption.
  • PMO, Compliance, Legal & QA Teams – coordinate timelines, ensure compliance, and validate quality.
Job Requirements
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience, with 3 years of experience building data-driven technical products.
  • Proven ability to create product roadmaps, define vision, and lead design discussions.
  • Strong skills in translating business needs into measurable, data-driven outcomes.
  • Experience working across business, IT, data science, BI/analytics, and commercial functions.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of investment cases, lifecycle management, and ROI tracking.
  • Strong value stream management skills - able to translate business outcomes into product capabilities and KPIs.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale digital/data transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience with customer and market data platforms (e.g., CDP, DMP, CRM, market intelligence tools).
  • Experience with external data providers, syndicated research, and data enrichment vendors, including contract and quality management.
  • Understanding of data integration, governance, and quality frameworks.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation, market sizing, competitive intelligence, and pricing insights.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics/AI (predictive modeling, churn, lead scoring, market forecasting).
  • Awareness of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and ethical data practices.
  • Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum or SAFe), including backlog management and iterative releases.
  • Ability to drive adoption of insights platforms and embed data-driven decision-making into business teams.
