Job description

Urgently hiring for IT Manager

Key Responsibilities

• IT Leadership & Governance: Develop and execute the IT roadmap, manage strategic projects and budgets, implement IT policies and best practices. Monitor system performance, identify infrastructure improvement opportunities, coordinate audits, manage vendor and partner relationships.
• Hardware & Software Management: Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories, assess performance and lifecycle needs, recommend and implement upgrades, oversee procurement, manage maintenance contracts and renewals.
• Infrastructure & Network: Design, deploy, and continuously enhance IT infrastructure. Manage broadband connectivity, firewalls, servers, routers, and end‑user devices, administer VPN and firewall access, and provide IT support for office and retail renovations or relocations.
• Cloud Computing & Data Centre: Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives, manage on‑premises servers and patching processes, ensure strong data protection, backup, and retention policies across cloud and data centre environments.
• IT Operations & Projects: Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations and end‑user support while leading or contributing to ad hoc and strategic IT projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related IT discipline; professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISA, CISM, or CISSP are preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in IT operations, with good knowledge in cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and IT governance.
• Proven experience in infrastructure, system hardening, and security controls across Windows, Unix, and Linux environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in network administration, infrastructure deployment, data center operations, data governance, and management of mission‑critical systems.
• Strong technical capabilities in IT security solutions, patch management, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support.
• Ability to monitor network performance, plan technology refresh cycles, assess vulnerabilities, and execute incident response effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills; proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
