Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore seeks an experienced IT professional to update and execute IT strategies, manage infrastructure, and provide user support. You will be responsible for handling operating systems, ensuring network stability, and implementing security measures. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in IT with 5–8 years of experience in IT support, as well as proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Strategy Planning & Execution: Update and execute IT strategies in line with group strategy, covering IT infrastructure, information management, and security management
• IT Infratructure Management: Responsible for the procurement, installation, configuration, and maintennace of computers, servers, network equipment, and other hardware facilities
• Application & System Management: Manage operating systems and application software (such as SAP, OA, Office SRM,etc) according to business requirements, ensuring smooth user operations
• Network Management: Ensure stable connectivity of internal and IoT network, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Security & Protection: Implement security measures to protect IT systems and data from cyber threats and attacks: establish backup strategies, conduct regular backups, and test data recovery to ensure effectiveness
• User Support: Provide IT Support to employees, resolving issues related to computers and software usage
• Asset Management: Track IT assets, ensure equipment is in good condition, and develop asset renewal and replacements plans
• Vendor Management:Work with IT vendors and partners to procure necessary hardware, software, and services, ensuring deliverables meet requirements

Job Requirement

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in IT support, networking, or systems administration is usually needed, with some roles specifying more years of experience
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux server environments
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi, along with experience in network infrastructure troubleshooting
• Experience with server administration (Active Directory, file sharing, backups) and virtualization technologies like VMware
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, AWS Cloud is a significant advantage
• Knowledge of IT security principles, including antivirus, firewalls, user access control, and patch management
• Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring and management tools
• The ability to work independently, as well as being a collaborative team player, is crucial
