Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to manage IT infrastructure and provide L2 support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and network issues, overseeing software and application maintenance, and ensuring compliance with IT policies. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in IT and 1–3 years of relevant experience. The position offers a full-time role with a salary range of $3300 - $3800, and may require after-hours support.

Qualifications

  • May require after-hours or weekend support during downtime or system issues.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, barcode scanners, etc.).
  • Support network infrastructure: LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure servers and data storage are running smoothly.
  • Manage user accounts, email, Active Directory, file permissions.
  • Monitor IT security and perform regular backups.
  • Provide technical support for MES and ERP systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and provide user support.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and support compliance needs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues.

Job Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Support
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
  • Support network infrastructure: LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi
  • Ensure servers and data storage are running smoothly (file servers, domain controllers)
System Administration
  • Manage user accounts, email, Active Directory, file permissions
  • Monitor IT security (antivirus, firewalls, data protection policies)
  • Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place
Manufacturing/Production System Support
  • Provide technical support for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP, or factory-specific systems
  • Troubleshoot machine-PC communication issues (e.g., PLCs, IoT devices)
  • Ensure system uptime to minimize production downtime
Software & Application Support
  • Install, configure, and maintain standard and custom software
  • Provide technical support to end-users
  • Liaise with software vendors for updates, bugs, or new implementations
IT Policies and Compliance
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, data protection, and access control
  • Support ISO/IEC 27001 or other relevant compliance needs if applicable
User Support & Training
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues
  • Provide training or guidance to staff on using systems or software
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain IT asset inventory
  • Prepare incident reports, maintenance logs, and update manuals
  • Support audits and provide technical documentation
