The IT Executive will manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operations of office laptops, server room equipment, door access systems, network connectivity, firewall security, and internet services. This role also involves collaborating with appointed vendor for endpoint management through Microsoft Intune and working closely with the SOC (Security Operations Center) vendor to maintain a strong cybersecurity posture.
Job Responsibilities
1. End-User Support
- oProvide technical support for endpoints and peripheral devices.
- oInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- oTroubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
- oCoordinate with vendor on warranty support
2. Endpoint Management (Intune)
- oManage device enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment via Microsoft Intune.
- oMonitor device health and ensure security baselines are applied.
- oSupport mobile device management (MDM) and troubleshooting.
3. Server Room Management
- oMonitor and maintain servers, storage devices, UPS, and backup systems.
- oEnsure proper cooling, power supply, and physical security of server room equipment.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance.
4. Access Control Systems
- oManage and maintain door access systems and related hardware/software.
- oConfigure user access rights and troubleshoot access issues.
5. Meeting Room & Video Conferencing Systems
- oAdminister and maintain meeting room booking systems.
- oEnsure video conferencing platforms (MS Teams) are operational and integrated with room hardware.
- oProvide support for audio-visual equipment during meetings and events.
6. Network & Connectivity
- oMonitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, and routers.
- oEnsure stable and secure internet connection for all users.
- oTroubleshoot network performance issues and optimize bandwidth usage.
7. Firewall & Security
- oConfigure and manage firewall policies to safeguard network security.
- oMonitor for potential threats and implement security patches.
- Work closely with the appointed SOC vendor for incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
8. Security Governance
- oSupport the implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
- oEnsure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
- oSeek approval from CISO/GISO for security-related changes and implementations
9. Asset Management
- oManage all IT assets inventory.
- oEnsure proper tagging and documentation.
- Track asset lifecycle including warranties.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement, warranty support, and secure disposal of retired assets.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- oMaintain proper up-to-date records of IT assets, configurations, and incidents.
- oPrepare regular reports on system performance and security status.
Requirements
- ·Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- ·Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
- ·Strong knowledge of Windows OS/MacOS, networking protocols, and firewall configurations.
- ·Experience with Microsoft M365, Intune and endpoint security management.
- ·Familiarity with server hardware, virtualization, and backup solutions.
- ·Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
