AN ORDINARY DAY OF WORK WOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Main role and responsibility is to perform quality MES (Manufacturing Execution System) releases according to the Release Deployment Management (RDM) Process and deliver the latest feature to the manufacturing fab with zero rollback due to release process issue.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing and performance analysis of real-time data applications, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.

  • Ensure that the potential impact of software development changes is well understood, using data to support understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies.

  • Secondary role is operational support and troubleshoot on MES (Manufacturing Execution System) services with software knowledge about the system. Work closely on user acceptance testing, perform solution delivery and support software programs and applications for manufacturing system, tracking system and planning and scheduling system.

  • Collaborate closely with the Worldwide IT team members.

  • Responsible for the implementation and support of MES Operation to the defined Service Level Agreement.

  • Work and contribute as a team member in MES team. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, developers, and infrastructure groups across all sites.

  • Communicate timely status of projects/incidents to the customers, group, and managers.

  • Participate discussion to ensure daily operations issues are address promptly and high-quality resolution are provided to users.

  • Responsible to participate and support operations 24x7 through on-call rotation, execution of urgent processes as required.

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge and experiences in programming language C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework and JavaScript will be advantageous.

  • Creative and have passion in implementing innovative IT solutions to solve meaningful business problems.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Bring in your enthusiasm as you will work with a dynamic team to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration and dedication.

  • Experiences in good software project management skill and exposure in agile development methodology will be advantageous

Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
