Roles & Responsibilities
Purpose of the Position
Responsible for planning, managing, and successfully delivering IT projects/initiatives of medium to high complexity in accordance with Vorwerk IT standards, as well as advising internal and external stakeholders on IT solutions and services. This role combines project management, delivery responsibility, and strategic IT consulting, with the aim of driving sustainable improvements in processes, systems, and services. The primary focus of this role is in End User Facing IT, Connectivity and IT Security areas. If capacity allows and situation is called for, this role will support other domain task(s) (eg. Application) as well.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
1) Project Management & Delivery
- Define project objectives, organization, and scope in line with PM standards
- Plan and control resources, budgets, schedules, and quality
- Coordinate internal and external project and supplier resources
- Handover to operations and maintenance including project documentation
- Status reporting, risk management and escalation handling
2) IT Consulting & Assessment
- Advise Group IT, local IT, and business stakeholders on complex IT matters
- Conduct technical and non-technical assessments
- Produce customer-oriented reports and recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, process, and quality standards
3) Stakeholder & Change Management
- Facilitate meetings and workshops at executive level
- Align with Business Project Managers and IT Architects
- Support in major incidents and service operations topics
- Promote agile ways of working and continuous improvement

Know-how and Competencies
1) Educational Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or comparable qualification
- More than 7 years of experience in IT project management and consulting in multinational companies
- Experience working in a matrixed organization is a must.
- Certification in project management methodology (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2)
- Experience in agile and hybrid methods (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, Waterfall)
- Experience in implementing and assessing complex IT solutions

- Good working knowledge in End User Facing IT, Connectivity (eg. Network,Cloud) and IT Security as Functionals Consultant, IT Services or Project Manager
- Experience and knowledge in supporting IT Application solution(s) (eg. SAP) is an added advantage
- Certification or extensive work experience in ITIL v3 is an added advantage
