Investment Specialist

Your goal is to design, build and offer a structured, financial literacy ecosystem, with the aim of implementing this regionally. You will be the bridge between complex market data and the retail investor, delivering impact through offline coaching, in-app learning, while integrating app features and familiarisation. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic working environment, is passionate about trading, the financial markets and elevating the financial literacy of our community.

Qualifications

• Financial expertise and strong market acumen: deep understanding of investment basics, trading, asset classes and financial products (e.g., options, ETFs, funds) and personal finance.
• Educational mindset and strong communication skills: proven ability to simplify complex financial concepts into digestible content for beginners and mass retail.
• Content creation: skilled in developing structured learning paths, training scripts and reusable templates.
• Team player with strong stakeholder management: ability to collaborate within the investment research and education team and across the company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional financial literacy workshops & seminars, providing training to elevate financial and investment knowledge across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Conduct workshops at physical stores and industry events on money‑mindset, risk assessment, key investment frameworks and personal/lifestyle finance.
• Develop a comprehensive “Investing 101” curriculum with modular content, decks, scripts, worksheets and maintain an internal database of reusable templates.
• Translate investment research into actionable insights, bridging institutional‑grade research into clear, practical investing actions for client segments.
• Convert macro insights into trading and investing guides and investor‑friendly summaries.
• Support regional campaigns tied to economic data, earnings seasons and thematic cycles with easy‑to‑follow learning points.
• Act as the internal education content partner for Marketing, Partnerships, PR, Community and Content teams, standardizing beginner education assets across Singapore and Malaysia.
• Conduct and host webinars for industry partners and locally registered Singapore focus listcos, attend relevant industry and media events, and represent Moomoo in media interviews in Mandarin and English.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the financial markets and/or securities industries.
• Minimum a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance and/or Economics, or a related field is essential. Professional accreditations such as CFA, CMT or equivalent would be desired.
• Sound knowledge of different financial products and asset classes, possessing CMFAS certification (RES1A/RES1B, RES1C, RES2B, RES5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI).
• English speaking and fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Have experience with trading and investing platforms such as Moomoo’s app, TradingView and Bloomberg Terminal is a must.
