Role Overview

AR Capital is seeking a capable Investment Executive to support our investment team. You will work with other analysts to analyse companies and sectors with the objective of making an informed investment recommendation to the investment team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with other analysts to analyse companies with an initial focus on Singapore stocks

• Writing research notes and constructing financial models
• Monitoring relevant news flow and providing updates of the companies under coverage
• Data collection and maintenance for research

2. Assist in portfolio analysis and risk management

• Prepare regular reports used for risk management
• Assist in preparing reports for portfolio attribution analysis

3. Help with data maintenance and preparation of marketing materials

• Maintain the database for information on investments that may be used in marketing materials
• Assist in the preparation for client presentations

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in finance, economics, business, engineering, computer science or a related field with a strong analytical background
• Basic understanding of accounting
• 1-3 years of work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), preferably with advanced skills in data management and formatting.
• Basic ability to program preferred (C++, Visual Basic, Python or other basic programming languages)
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and digital tools.
• Reliable and dependable individual who takes ownership of tasks and consistently meets deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative to address them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
