Job description
Inventory Controller
  • Salary range: $3,000 - $4,000
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Maintain and monitor closely on monthly safety stock level to cater to order requests
  • Lead yearly inventory stock take
  • Ensure sales team are using the correct item codes
  • Review and monitor products for discrepancies troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level
  • Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and reduce operations costs
  • Administer purchase orders and payment process while working together with finance team on payment issues
  • Liaise with forwarder or courier service to plan shipping schedules accordingly to fulfil orders
  • Perform other and ad-hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned by the by the Superiors
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
  • 5 years working experience in a related field
  • Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system
