Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for an Inventory Controller in Singapore to oversee inventory management and ensure accuracy of records. Candidates must have a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in inventory management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus. This position involves leading stock takes and improving operational procedures to maximize efficiency.

Working Days: 5 days Mon - Fri
Working hours: 8:30am -5:00pm
Salary:$3000 - $4000

Job Description
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Maintain and monitor closely on monthly safety stock level to cater to order requests
  • Lead yearly inventory stock take
  • Ensure sales team are using the correct item codes
  • Review and monitor products for discrepancies troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level
  • Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and reduce operations costs
  • Administer purchase orders and payment process while working together with finance team on payment issues
  • Liaise with forwarder or courier service to plan shipping schedules accordingly to fulfil orders
  • Perform other and ad-hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned by the by the Superiors
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
  • At least 5 years working experience in a related field
  • Experience in valves, pipe & fittings
  • Proficient in Ms Words /Excel / Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system is a Plus
