Job summary

A leading energy solutions company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to manage inventory processes, maintain accurate records, and lead stock management initiatives. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience and a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. Proficiency in Microsoft tools is required. This is a permanent position with a salary range of $3,000 to $4,000.

Job Description
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Energy Solutions
  • Position Title: Inventory Controller
  • Working Location: Jurong West
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30am-5pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic $3,000 - $4,000
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage inventory
  • Maintain updated and accurate inventory records, including stock transfers and cycle counts
  • Monitor monthly safety stock levels to meet order requirements
  • Lead the annual stock take exercise
  • Ensure the sales team uses the correct item codes
  • Review and investigate product and quantity discrepancies between physical stock and system records
  • Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory levels
  • Prepare, generate and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Propose and implement improvements to operational procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Handle purchase orders and payment processes, and work with the finance team on any payment issues
  • Liaise with forwarders and courier services to plan shipping schedules to fulfil orders
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superiors
