The role necessitates close alignment withthe core Fund Advisory and Wealth management activities of the Firm and thusoffers significant scope for learning career growth opportunities over time.
Job Responsibilities
Fund Manager Coverage & Onboarding
- Support the sourcing and evaluation of externalfund managers for potential onboarding onto the Taurus platform.
- Coordinate due diligence preparation,information requests, product assessments, and follow-up with fund managers.
- Coordinate with the CIO and investment team tofacilitate onboarding workflows, including documentation, internal approvals,and platform readiness.
- Track onboarding progress, maintain updatedstatus reports, and ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders.
Institutional Distribution& Investor Targeting
- Identify and map the institutional investorlandscape across Asia Pacific and the Middle East region, GCC, to includingprivate banks and institutions, corporates, family offices, sovereign entities,pension funds, and insurance companies.
- Assist in preparing targeted outreach plans andcoordinating meetings with the Taurus Singapore and Dubai teams.
- Support follow-ups with institutional clients,maintaining accurate records of discussions, interests, and action items.
- Help prepare proposals, pitch books, andinvestment materials tailored to institutional requirements.
Business Development Support
- Assist senior leadership in managing businessdevelopment pipelines through CRM updates, investor segmentation, and trackingof opportunities.
- Conduct market intelligence research oncompetitors, fund offerings, trends, and industry developments relevant toinstitutional markets.
- Support the preparation of internal reports,dashboards, and updates for management.
Research, Analysis &Presentation
- Prepare high-quality presentations, productsummaries, and marketing materials for fund manager and investor engagements.
- Maintain internal databases, fund informationlibraries, and document repositories.
- Compile and analyse data for performancereviews, investment proposals, and business development initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the CIO Office, InvestmentTeam, Compliance, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of onboarding anddistribution activities.
- Liaise with regional teams in Singapore andDubai to align outreach strategies and share market insights.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, due diligencesessions, and investor calls.
Administrative &Operational Support
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas, minutes,and follow-up notes.
- Support ad-hoc projects, internal initiatives,and special assignments as required by the Institutional Markets team.
Requirements :
- Degree in Banking / Business / Economics / Engineering / Finance / Mathematics.
- Passion and interest in institutional markets
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills. Coding skills (Python, R etc.) a plus.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learnis paramount.
- High standards of ethics and conduct; ensuresconfidentiality of Clients' assets & information
- Fosters teamwork and positively contributestowards the dynamics of the team and the quality of its output.
- Excellent written and verbal communicationskills as well as interpersonal skills
