Job summary

A global financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Tech Lead Analyst to manage operational support and ensure Middleware Web Hosting reliability. Qualifications

Infrastructure Tech Lead Analyst

The Infrastructure Tech Lead Analyst is a manager level role accountable for Middleware Web Hosting support technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Able to manage day-to-day operational support and 24x7 out of office support of 2500+ Webhosting instances used by 200+ Global Wealth and USPB applications, co-ordinate in strategic and customer initiatives to maintain service availability, co-ordinate in maintaining sector risk and compliance posture, and participate in sector technology initiatives.
  • Plan, install, and maintain webhosting products to ensure an efficient data processing environment.
  • Interface with outside vendors to co-ordinate software problem resolution and pro‑active patching.
  • Perform system performance monitoring and tuning; participate in capacity planning and product configurations.
  • Provide technical support to both systems development and data centre operations personnel.
  • In conjunction with data processing operations and audit guidelines, develop procedures and standards for operations personnel.
  • Act as manager for systems projects, coordinating team activities, with systems development and data center operations personnel.
  • Assist in evaluating, recommending, acquiring, and installing new software or software upgrades.
  • Co‑ordinate project plans and activities with user and technology management.
  • Co‑ordinate and participate in Continuity Of Business drill.
  • Perform proper prioritization and evaluation of business requirements prioritizing according to the order of Franchise Critical, Gold, Silver, and Bronze applications.
  • Responsible to take ownership and drive multiple challenging task assignments across all CTI ASPAC Datacenter teams.
  • Participate in global Webhosting initiatives, meetings and projects.
  • Responsible for overall operating system applications.
  • Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
  • 9‑12 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audience.
  • Ability to work with virtual and in‑person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.
  • Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills.
Education
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

He / She should be good in WebSphere Application Server support, IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat, Apache HTTP server and Weblogic.

Along with Middleware web product good knowledge of Load Balancer and Firewall knowledge. Cloud technology understanding also need.

HE / She should be good hands on writing shell scripts and Python scripts.

Good understanding of Load Balancer and Firewall works must have.
