Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in Community Healthcare is advantageous.
• Formal infection prevention and control training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing IPC initiatives.
• Collect and maintain IPC surveillance data.
• Conduct IPC audits and training programs.
• Oversee Infection Control Committee meetings.
• Co-ordinate and oversee Infection Control Committee meetings and initiatives.
• Deliver public talks on nursing and infection control topics.
• Develop Standard Operating Policies (SOPs) for IPC.
• Oversee competency programs related to infection control.
• Support and participate in any relevant audits and services.
• Manage and guide Infection Control representatives.
