Job summary

A leading crane services provider is looking for a Parts Assistant to support daily sales operations. Responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, managing deliveries, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will possess previous sales or purchasing experience in the marine or construction industries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. This position is open to Singaporeans only and requires a driven, independent individual who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales or purchasing experience required.
  • Ability to learn hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical parts.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Parts Sales Manager and Executives in daily operations.
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers locally and overseas.
  • Manage local deliveries and arrange global shipments.
  • Coordinate between customers, suppliers, and warehouse for smooth execution.
  • Ensure cost efficiency in delivery processes.
  • Prepare documents for quotations, orders, and shipments.

Job Description
  • Assist Parts Sales Manager and Parts Sales Executives in daily operation
  • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers locally and overseas
  • Manage local deliveries and arrange shipments globally
  • Coordinate between customers, suppliers, our warehouse & forwarders and ensure smooth order execution
  • Ensure cost efficiency in the delivery processes
  • Prepare documents for Quotations, Orders & Shipment
Requirements
  • Singaporeans only
  • Previous Sales / Purchasing experience in the marine-, port or construction industry will be added advantage
  • Interested in learning hydraulic, mechanical & electrical parts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Outlook
  • Able to adapt to and cope within a fast-paced environment
  • Independent, responsible & driven to close Customers orders
