Job summary

A leading petrochemical company in Singapore is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in a refinery. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or NITEC in a relevant engineering discipline and have at least 3 years' experience, preferably in a refinery or petrochemical plant. This full-time position is onsite with a competitive salary range of SGD 2,000 to SGD 3,500 monthly.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' relevant experience in an oil refinery or petrochemical plant.
• Previous experience with EMA license preferred.
• Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level positions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot critical electrical equipment including UPS and LV/HV switchgears.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and update documentation.

Job Description

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment & system, switchgear control, motors
• Troubleshoot critical electrical equipments such as UPS, DC Charger, LV/HV switchgears
• Execute assembly, wiring and termination works on LV/HV switchboard
• Read and interpret electrical single line and schematics diagram
• Update and maintain electrical drawing documentation
• Ensure that all Electrical Safety, HSE and Safe Work Procedure (SWP) are followed
• Provide support and services in addressing any plant/equipment maintenance issues that may arise after office hours in order to minimise disruption/downtime to plant/equipment operation.

Qualifications
