The Opportunity

We are seeking a "hands-on" IT professional to bridge the gap between medical hardware and complex software architecture. As anICT Solutions Specialist, you will drive the regional deployment and integration of our advanced medical technology platforms. This role is designed for a technical expert who enjoys troubleshooting at the server, database, and protocol levels.


Key Responsibilities


  • Technical Implementation:Lead the setup, testing, and deployment of regional medical IT solutions, ensuring alignment with hospital network security and hardware specifications.


  • Deep Integration:Configure and troubleshoot interfaces usingHL7 (v2/v3), FHIR, MLLP, and DICOMto ensure seamless data flow between devices and EMR/EHR platforms.


  • System Architecture:Manage server installations (physical/virtual), device communication protocols, and SQL database configurations.


  • Technical Leadership:Act as the Tier-2/3 technical lead for post-implementation issues—investigating logs and SQL tables to resolve integration breaks.


  • Cross-Functional Support:Provide technical input for RFPs and tenders, translating clinical workflow requirements into robust system designs.



Requirements


  • Education:Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related IT field.


  • Experience:3–8 years of hands‑on experience in healthcare IT or clinical informatics.


  • Sector Preference:Candidates fromLab Solutions(LIS/LIMS) orDiagnostic Imagingbackgrounds with strong integration experience are highly encouraged to apply.


  • Technical Mastery: Proven expertise inHL7 mappingand interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody).



    • Strong command ofSQL databasesand basic scripting (Python/Java).


    • Familiarity with EMR environments (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
