Job summary

A dynamic educational company in Singapore is seeking an HR Generalist to manage all aspects of hiring, payroll processing, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of generalist HR experience, strong knowledge of Singapore HR laws, and excellent communication skills. This role offers a collaborative environment focused on employee engagement and development.

Qualifications

  • Manage end-to-end hiring, including postings, screening, and interviews.
  • Process monthly payroll and prepare payroll reports.

  • Conduct park visits and support managers on HR matters.

Job description
1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end hiring, including job postings, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination. Oversee onboarding (orientation, system access, probation tracking) and offboarding (resignations, exit interviews, asset return). Support internship recruitment and liaise with schools.

2. HR Operations & Administration

Maintain employee records and HRIS (StaffAny). Prepare HR documents, letters, and reports. Provide administrative support for daily HR functions.

3. Payroll & Benefits

Process monthly payroll (salaries, allowances, CPF, levies, IR8A, IR21) and verify timesheets. Prepare payroll reports and statutory audit schedules. Support budgeting with payroll forecasts. Administer staff benefits including leave, OIL, and medical/dental claims.

4. Engagement & Development

Organise staff engagement activities, cohesion events, and festive initiatives. Coordinate EXSA nominations, communications, and training registration.

5. Performance Management

Manage annual performance processes, including goal setting, appraisals, promotions, and increments. Consolidate evaluations and maintain records.

6. Work Pass & Compliance

Handle Work Permit, Passapplications, renewals, and cancellations. Ensure MOM/CPF compliance and maintain the Employee Handbook. Support PDPA compliance and statutory documentation.

7. HR Projects

Support HR initiatives, system enhancements, workflow improvements, and government grant applications.

8. HR Business Partnering

Conduct park visits, support managers on people matters, and contribute to positive employee experience.

9. Systems & Microsoft 365

Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses, and access rights, and provide basic troubleshooting.

  • Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable supporting frontline operations
  • Experience with HRIS (e.g., StaffAny) and Microsoft 365 is an advantage
