Job Summary

Support the Senior HR Manager by delivering comprehensive HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and payroll administration to drive organizational effectiveness within the construction sector.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to attract qualified candidates aligned with organizational needs
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration to ensure competitive and compliant employee packages
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and resolve workplace relations issues to maintain a positive work environment
  • Implement performance management activities to support employee development and organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local employment laws to uphold workplace standards
  • Maintain and update confidential employee and worker records accurately in the HR database and personnel files
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and workers, including induction and briefing on employment terms and conditions
  • Coordinate staff training enrollment and maintain up-to-date training records to support workforce development
  • Handle Work Pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and timely according to company policies and guidelines
  • Exercise mature discretion when managing confidential HR matters and worker grievances, resolving issues tactfully
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and work independently to support HR operations
  • Perform other ad hoc HR duties as assigned to support business needs
Required competencies and certifications
  • Certificate or Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of local human resources practices, Singapore laws, and regulations relevant to the construction sector
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within the construction industry
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams
  • Experience in handling foreign workers in Construction Sector will be added advantage.
