Job description

The HRIS Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization, and continuous enhancement of the University’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), with a primary focus on Workday. This role ensures the accuracy, security, and functionality of HR data, streamlines HR processes, and provides user support and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration & Business Process Enhancement

    • Manage system administration and strengthen the core functionality of the HRIS.

    • Lead initiatives to gather user requirements, propose system designs, and conduct solution testing.

    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand and address business needs.

    • Configure business processes within Workday based on organizational requirements.

    • Conduct impact analyses for application upgrades and manage upgrade implementation effectively.

  • Operational Support

    • Deliver comprehensive operational support for Workday, including event and incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of break/fix scenarios.

    • Rescind, correct, and advance workflows or transactions as required to maintain system integrity.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in HR technology

  • In-depth knowledge on HRIS systems, especially in Workday with strong functional and technical skills in Core HR, Recruitment, Learning, Performance Management and Time and Attendance

  • Proven experience managing full project life cycles; demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality outcomes

  • Possess good experience in system implementation roles

The successful candidate will initially be offered a two‑year temporary contract. Renewal or conversion of the contract will be contingent upon demonstrated strong performance, as well as alignment with the University’s prevailing guidelines and organizational needs.
