A prestigious university in Singapore is seeking an HRIS Project Manager to oversee the administration and enhancement of their Human Resource Information Systems, focusing on Workday. Responsibilities include managing system functionality, gathering user requirements, and providing operational support. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and 6-8 years of HR technology experience. This position offers a two-year temporary contract, with potential for renewal based on performance.
The HRIS Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization, and continuous enhancement of the University’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), with a primary focus on Workday. This role ensures the accuracy, security, and functionality of HR data, streamlines HR processes, and provides user support and training.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Business Process Enhancement
Manage system administration and strengthen the core functionality of the HRIS.
Lead initiatives to gather user requirements, propose system designs, and conduct solution testing.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand and address business needs.
Configure business processes within Workday based on organizational requirements.
Conduct impact analyses for application upgrades and manage upgrade implementation effectively.
Operational Support
Deliver comprehensive operational support for Workday, including event and incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of break/fix scenarios.
Rescind, correct, and advance workflows or transactions as required to maintain system integrity.
Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
6-8 years of relevant experience in HR technology
In-depth knowledge on HRIS systems, especially in Workday with strong functional and technical skills in Core HR, Recruitment, Learning, Performance Management and Time and Attendance
Proven experience managing full project life cycles; demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality outcomes
Possess good experience in system implementation roles
The successful candidate will initially be offered a two‑year temporary contract. Renewal or conversion of the contract will be contingent upon demonstrated strong performance, as well as alignment with the University’s prevailing guidelines and organizational needs.
