HRBP - Customer Markets and Traveler Services - APAC - 1700053B

The Regional HR Business Partner will provide strategic HR leadership to the Regional Traveler Services and Customer organization to leverage the workforce as a key corporate asset. The HR Business Partner is a change advocate who will partner with business and HR leaders to deploy and execute the strategic People agenda for Traveler Services/Customer. The role is accountable for setting an overall regional roadmap in collaboration with business and HR partners in areas including: learning, workforce agility, compensation, job differentiation and design, performance management, talent acquisition and development. This leader will partner with the business to identify and deploy actions which will improve engagement of the front line travel counselors. The HR Business Partner actively participates as a member of the Regional Traveler Services and Customer leadership teams.

Qualifications
Communication Skills
  • Complete fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent writing skills in English are required
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a multicultural environment
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with high-level internal/external audiences and influence without authority
Background/Experience
  • 5 - 8 years experience in HR or OD and learning; knowledge of travel management operations is helpful; experience working with distributed, front-line workforce and management in a global, matrixed environment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading development and execution of a workforce strategy that includes learning program design, performance management, compensation, and job/org design that supports agility and continuous improvement in staffing solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Master's preferred.
  • Proven planning and project management skills
  • Know how of learning design and delivery; in particular of distance, online learning, and self-directed learning solutions is useful
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to generate enthusiasm and engagement across diverse levels and cultures in the organization
Business/Stakeholder Management
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with ability to develop relevant solutions to problems
  • Proven ability to drive change within an organization without direct authority
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with regional HR partners, COEs and business leaders in up and down the organization
  • Tenacity and resilience in the face of adversity are a must as is the ability to influence new ways of thinking and working
