Job description

The HR Officer serves as a key enabler of organizational growth by leading the full recruitment cycle and ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle from entry to exit. With a strong foundation in recruitment, this role balances people-facing duties with structured reporting, and HR system updates. Confidentiality, accountability, and coordination are essential pillars of success in this position.

Job Description

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Handle full-cycle recruitment, including job posting, screening, shortlisting, and coordination of interviews
  • Liaise with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and candidate expectations are aligned
  • Maintain updated recruitment tracker and recruitment-related documentation
  • Provide weekly hiring status updates to the HR Manager

2. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding experience
  • Conduct exit interviews and compile insights into attrition trends
  • Ensure timely deactivation/reactivation of systems and accounts

3. HRIS and Employee Movement Updates

  • Update employee records in the HR system for new hires, terminations, and staff movements
  • Coordinate with payroll contact on monthly movement updates

4. HR Reporting

  • Prepare monthly headcount and attrition reports
  • Analyze basic trends and provide commentary from exit data and hiring metrics
  • Maintain accurate dashboards for recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate)
