Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR and administrative for office, including recruitment, compensation and benefits management, policy development, employee remuneration, and overall HR strategy.

  • Manage the HR teams with providing guidance, coaching, and support.

  • Collaborate with the Heads of Departments to develop and implement HR policies, strategies, and processes that attract, retain, and develop talent while enhancing workforce productivity.

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters to foster a cohesive, collaborative, and positive workplace culture.

  • Align HR strategies with business objectives and contribute as a key member of the management team to address organizational challenges.

  • Prepare and review employment-related documentation, including appointment letters, increment letters, resignation acceptance letters, and disciplinary action letters.

  • Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, reimbursements, CPF contributions, IR8A filings, and other statutory or government claims.

  • Conduct annual job grading, salary banding, and performance evaluations.

  • Assess training and development needs and make recommendations to enhance employee growth and organizational capability.

  • Oversee the management of insurance policies, including health, workers’ compensation, and liability insurance, and coordinate claims and renewals.

  • Plan and manage welfare initiatives, company events, and team-building activities.

  • Develop and implement programs to enhance talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Introduce initiatives to improve workforce productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Prefer 5 years of HR manager experience, within the engineering or construction sector.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including work pass regulations and procedures in Singapore.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and integrity.

  • Strong multitasking, planning, and coordination abilities with attention to detail.
