About us

Utami Collective is a growing business group comprising two operating entities: Dapur Penyet (restaurant) and Utami Foods (central kitchen / food production & supply).

The Collective provides a unified structure across shared functions, standards, and people practices, while each entity continues to operate as its own legal entity where required. The aim is to enable consistent operations and scalable growth across both businesses.

Responsibilities
1) HR Operations (Employee Lifecycle + Documentation)
  • Manage HR administration across the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, in-employment changes, offboarding).

  • Support recruitment coordination (shortlisting, arranging interviews, candidate communication).

  • Prepare, issue, and maintain HR documents: Employment contracts and appointment/offer letters, Probation confirmations/extensions, Transfers, changes in role/pay, and employee requests

  • Resignation/termination letters and exit documentation

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper filing and documentation.

2) Work Pass & HR Compliance
  • Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in line with regulations.

  • Track workpass expiry dates and manage renewal timelines proactively.

  • Ensure HR processes and documentation are compliant with relevant employment requirements and internal policies.

3) Employee Relations, Policies & HR Advisory
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR enquiries, policies, and procedures.

  • Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of company policies and code of conduct.

  • Assist in handling employee grievances and workplace issues, escalating sensitive cases when required.

  • Provide practical HR guidance to Management and outlet managers to ensure consistent and fair people practices.

4) Performance & Conduct support
  • Support performance management processes with managers, including staff counselling and performance improvement documentation.

  • Execute disciplinary processes and documentation while advising Glen/managers on appropriate handling.

Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the F&B or service industry.
  • Some HR experience in F&B, Retail or fast paced industry will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of Singapore employment regulations and ability to implement compliant HR policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with all levels in the organisation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and priorities management skills
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and numbers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively and perform under pressure and tight deadlines
