A leading hotel in Singapore seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping standards, manage a team, and ensure excellent guest experiences. Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and be knowledgeable about hotel operations. The role includes responsibility for various housekeeping tasks, staff training, and guest interactions.

Works with Assistant Housekeeping Manager to ensure department costs and expenses are in line with the department budget.
People:
Supervise the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures related to:
Recommend changes to these standards and training needs on an ongoing basis.
Solve employee grievances.
Ensure consistency within the department.
Work with Superior and Human Resources on manpower planning and management needs.
Open and close the shift and ensure effective shift handover.
Distribute and collect master keys.
Manage all incoming and outgoing calls.
Guest Experience:
Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems.
Liaise with Front Office for guest and hotel requirements.
Ensure guest valet is processed and delivered in a timely manner.
Coordinate special projects (e.g., site rooms, vermin control, window and carpet cleaning, room inventories).
Manage lost property for the hotel.
Handle all special requests made by guests.
Have complete knowledge of room types, layouts, and facilities.
Perform room audits and ensure monthly room IHG Way of Clean audits are conducted, with housekeeping employees achieving set targets.
Manage room releasing and room status updates.
Responsible Business:
Manage storage areas and maintain adequate stock levels.
Complete stock takes as required.
Conduct shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements.
