A leading provider of therapy services is seeking a passionate Behavior Therapist to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will conduct engaging home-based therapy sessions for children with special needs, develop individualized education plans, and collaborate with parents to create meaningful change. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in ABA Therapy or with children with Autism. Flexibility, creativity, and communication skills are essential for this rewarding role.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years working in ABA Therapy or with children with special needs.
  • Ability to connect with children and create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging 1:1 home-based therapy sessions with children.
  • Perform behavior assessments to tailor interventions.
  • Develop session goals and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Implement creative strategies to meet children's unique needs.
  • Write detailed session notes and progress reports.
  • Collaborate closely with parents to provide updates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors.

Skills

Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles
Knowledge of speech & language concepts
Creativity in preparing personalized learning materials
Proficiency in English and strong communication skills

Education

RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA credentials
