Job summary
A leading provider of therapy services is seeking a passionate Behavior Therapist to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will conduct engaging home-based therapy sessions for children with special needs, develop individualized education plans, and collaborate with parents to create meaningful change. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in ABA Therapy or with children with Autism. Flexibility, creativity, and communication skills are essential for this rewarding role.
Qualifications
2+ years working in ABA Therapy or with children with special needs.
Ability to connect with children and create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct engaging 1:1 home-based therapy sessions with children.
Perform behavior assessments to tailor interventions.
Develop session goals and individualized education plans (IEPs).
Implement creative strategies to meet children's unique needs.
Write detailed session notes and progress reports.
Collaborate closely with parents to provide updates.
Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors.
Skills
Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles
Knowledge of speech & language concepts
Creativity in preparing personalized learning materials
Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
Education
RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA credentials
