Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a healthcare transcriptionist to listen to recorded dictations and transcribe them into diagnostic reports. Candidates should possess at least GCE 'N'/'O' Levels and have strong communication and computer skills. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A related background in healthcare will be advantageous. Working hours include 5.5 days per week, with a location at Orchard.

Qualifications

• At least GCE 'N'/'O' Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Related experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe doctors' dictations into reports and test results.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of transcriptions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and legal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Listen to the recorded dictation of doctors.
• Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results and reports.
• Make sure the transcription is correct, complete and has a consistent style.
• Identify inconsistencies, error and missing information within a report that could compromise patient care.
• Submit health records to physicians for approval.
• Follow patient confidentiality/guidelines and legal documentation requirements.
• Filing and upload transcribed reports.
• Any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• At least GCE 'N"/ 'O' Levels, Professional Certificate/ NiTEC, Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in any field
• Related working experience in healthcare and understanding of medical terminology/ abbreviations/ jargon will be an added advantage
• Strong computer/typing skills. Proficient in MS Office Advantage
• Meticulous, eye for details, precise, organised and efficient
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Effective team player and able to work in fast paced environment
• 5.5 days work week (Monday to Friday; Half Saturday)
• Location: Orchard
