• 10+ years of experience in UI/Frontend engineering, with a strong background in product-based startups.
• Proven experience in designing and developing configurable, customizable UI frameworks and SDKs.
• Expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform, React.js, iOS (Swift), and Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Strong understanding of platform-agnostic UI architectures and scalable micro frontends.
• Experience in securing mobile applications using SAST and DAST.
• Deep engineering mindset with experience in building frameworks across multiple platforms.
• Ability to define and execute UI strategy, architecture, and roadmap.

What You’ll Do

Looking for a Head of UI (Principal Engineer) to lead the design and delivery of our web and mobile UI frameworks. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineering leader who can define the UI architecture, roadmap, and strategic direction while ensuring solutions are scalable, customizable, and platform‑agnostic.

Audax focuses in‑house engineering to build required UI frameworks that enable seamless customization, extension, and configuration by our clients. This role requires a deep engineering mindset, with a focus on building frameworks that are independent of specific web or mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.).

• Define & Execute UI Strategy: Establish a future‑proof roadmap for UI Shells, SDKs, and micro frontends.
• Drive Roadmap & Execution: Work with engineering teams to create structured objectives and delivery milestones.
• Client‑Centric Approach: Anticipate futuristic client needs and build highly configurable UI frameworks for ease of adoption.
• Develop UI Shells: Design and develop platform‑agnostic, configurable, and extensible UI solutions.
• Hands‑on Technical Leadership: Provide relevant designs, code reviews, ensuring best practices in UI engineering.
• Cross‑Platform Expertise: Ensure compatibility across React.js, iOS (Swift), and Android (Kotlin/Java) and Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Standardize UI Development: Define best practices for reusability, modularity all UI components.
• Responsible for the end‑to‑end UI design and delivery, working closely with product managers, designers, and back‑end engineers to ensure a seamless experience, anticipate risks, and resolve blockers proactively.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in UI/Frontend engineering, with a strong background in product‑based startups.
• Proven experience in designing and developing configurable, customizable UI frameworks and SDKs.
• Expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform (for SDKs), React.js (Web UI), iOS (Swift), and Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Strong understanding of platform‑agnostic UI architectures and scalable micro frontends.
• Experience in securing mobile applications using SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) is highly preferred.
• Deep engineering mindset with experience in building frameworks that work across multiple platforms.
• Ability to define and execute UI strategy, architecture, and roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
• Experience leading teams and aligning them with structured objectives and measurable outcomes
