A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain for a pivotal role at a manufacturing facility in Singapore. The successful candidate will lead the entire supply chain cycle and develop a cohesive, high-performing team while driving operational excellence. Candidates with a background in the chemicals industry will have an advantage, but a people-centric leader with a proven track record in complex environments is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a critical manufacturing site.
Our client, a global player in the chemical and life sciences sector, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Supply Chain to lead the full operations and supply chain agenda for their Singapore site. This is a pivotal, Singapore-based role responsible for the end-to-end value chain of a fully operational manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply chain cycle across procurement, production, maintenance, logistics and process engineering. You will inherit a capable and motivated team, and your mandate is to bring cohesion, elevate performance and strengthen cross-functional collaboration. The business is looking for a leader who is equally comfortable being hands-on when necessary while still setting a clear strategic direction for the factory and its long-term operational roadmap.
You will work directly with the Head of APAC and play an active part in the regional leadership team. This requires someone who knows how to build alignment, resolve bottlenecks, develop people and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. While the team is strong, many members are still growing into their roles; the organisation needs a steady leader who can guide them, shape structure and processes, and stabilise the operation while also planning ahead.
Candidates with a background in the chemicals industry will have an advantage due to the safety and process-complexity understanding and appreciation involved. Experience in the food or flavour sector will be beneficial but not essential, as the technical aspects can be developed. Most importantly, we are looking for a leader with a proven track record of optimising complex supply chain environments, making diverse teams work together effectively, and lifting overall operational excellence.
If you are a people-centric supply chain leader who thrives in both strategic and operational settings, and you are excited by the opportunity to take ownership of a critical manufacturing site, we would like to hear from you.
To apply, please submit your resume (in MS Words format) to Willis Toh at wt@kerryconsulting.com, quoting the job title and reference number WT35057. We seek your kind understanding that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
