Job summary

A leading international education institution in Singapore seeks an experienced Assistant Principal (Head of Secondary) to lead the Secondary School curriculum and promote student achievement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of leadership and teaching experience in international schools, particularly within the Cambridge/IB curriculum. A Master's degree in Education and relevant teaching qualifications are required. This role offers the opportunity to shape educational standards and drive student success in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Leadership and Teaching roles at international schools.
• At least 5 years in a Senior Leadership position.
• Strong understanding of innovative assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Secondary School in accordance with the School’s vision.
• Manage Secondary School curriculum and maintain teaching standards.
• Promote student wellbeing and ensure effective pastoral programs.

Skills

Leadership and Teaching experience in Cambridge/IB curriculum

Strong leadership skills

In-depth knowledge of IGCSE and IBDP

Innovative and modern pedagogical understanding

Ability to deliver inquiry based learning

Education

Master's degree in Education

Professional Teaching qualification (PGDE, PGCE, etc.)
