Job Description
  • Leading the delivery, development and strategy of a robust Global Public Policy and Government Relations Plan for Traveloka Group. Collaborating with Traveloka’s senior leadership team to develop and drive a group-wide government engagement strategy that supports the long-term business objectives of the group.
  • Overseeing a team of PPGR in navigating policy changes, and involve in the formulation, influence, and implementation of policies that affect public or private organizations. Providing strategic direction to the team while remaining hands‑on with emergency issues when needed.
  • Interacting with regulatory bodies and government officials to influence decisions and allow the company to respond proactively to anticipated changes.
  • Owning key relationships with officials and regulators and ensuring they are properly maintained and strengthened.
  • Overseeing all external communications for one or more functions that involve government bodies, agencies, think tanks, international organizations, universities, and other related stakeholders.
  • Protecting and enhancing the reputation of Traveloka's brands and businesses through the delivery and implementation of Traveloka’s government engagement initiatives.
  • Supporting and serving as a senior trusted adviser to Country Managers and other senior leaders in driving business growth across all markets.
  • Taking responsibility for guiding, advising, and leading high‑level projects that support the company in maintaining its reputation and global presence.
  • Supporting the company’s strategy and overseeing the implementation of Traveloka’s social and environmental commitments under the directed ESG strategy.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Government Administration, Law, International Relations, or a related field, and/or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience working in Government Relations and Policy Advocacy, with at least 5 years focused on technology policy issues.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience interacting with and engaging international organizations, NGOs, think tanks, associations, the tech industry, major community groups, or public affairs communities.
  • Thorough understanding of, and ability to analyze, compare, and identify current and future global trends in technology, international issues, and global politics, with the ability to provide strategic insights to senior leaders on how these trends impact business direction and growth.
  • Deep expertise in negotiations, advocacy, lobbying, and persuasive communication.
  • Outstanding proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with a strong business and strategic writing style.
  • Exceptional presence when engaging with business leaders and high‑ranking government officials across the globe.
