Job Summary

The Head of Middle Office is responsible for leading global middle-office operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient support of derivatives, deliverable FX, and CFD activities.

This role oversees trade reconciliations, market and platform configuration, cash settlements, reporting, and system ownership for MT4, Two Four FXL, and ECN platforms.

You will drive continuous improvement, strengthen operational governance, and manage regulatory obligations while supporting a diverse client base across Retail, Institutional, SME, High-Value, IB, and White Label segments. You will manage global teams, develop talent, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, partner with key stakeholders, and champion operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Functional Leadership
  • Oversee and manage the global Middle Office teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of all business-as-usual activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, and operational guidelines across all regions.
  • Ensure global consistency and alignment with risk, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide flexibility to support day-to-day operational tasks where required for team coverage.
  • Maintain ownership of system configuration for products, services, and client trading platforms.
  • Oversee internal and external reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead ad-hoc analysis and project work to support business initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Act as a key escalation point for internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Build and strengthen collaborative relationships across departments including Trading, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Client Services.
  • Deliver high-quality support and service to internal clients through strong communication and partnering.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in Financial Services or Banking industry with at least 3 years of experience leading a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, cash settlements, market configuration, and reporting.
  • Track record in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and change management initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Trading, Compliance, Technology, Risk, Finance, and Client Services.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct ad-hoc analysis, assess operational gaps, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong performance management skills with the ability to set standards, measure outcomes, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience with Metatrader will be a plus.
  • Proven experience leading global or multi-regional Middle Office teams.
