Head of Marketing (Financial Technology)

Location: Singapore

We are representing a fast-growing financial technology platform expanding its presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of brand, growth, and localised marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Localisation
  • Lead end-to-end marketing strategy for the Singapore market, covering brand positioning, user growth, and localisation initiatives
  • Analyse market trends, competitor movements, and customer insights to optimise marketing investments and channel mix
Digital Marketing & User Growth
  • Drive performance marketing across digital channels, including social media, SEM/SEO, EDM, and paid acquisition platforms
  • Design high-impact user growth initiatives such as viral campaigns, KOL/influencer partnerships, and loyalty or membership programs
  • Optimise funnel performance, user acquisition cost, and long-term retention metrics
Brand, PR & Communications
  • Plan and execute brand campaigns, industry events, and strategic media collaborations
  • Manage public relations, reputation management, and crisis communications in a regulated environment
  • Maintain strong relationships with local media stakeholders and relevant industry bodies
Team Leadership & Budget Management
  • Build and lead a high-performing local marketing team while coordinating closely with product, operations, and regional stakeholders
  • Own marketing budgets and ensure strong ROI discipline across all initiatives
Requirements
  • 12+ years of marketing experience within financial services, fintech, trading platforms, or technology-driven businesses
  • Minimum 3 years in a people management or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore market; Southeast Asia exposure is a plus
  • Hands‑on experience in data-driven and performance-focused marketing environments
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong command of digital marketing, analytics, and data-driven decision making (e.g. GA, marketing dashboards, SQL exposure is a plus)
  • Solid awareness of compliance and regulatory considerations in financial products (MAS familiarity preferred)
