We are partnering with a top-tier regional financial institution with a significant footprint across the Asia-Pacific region. As they continue to centralize and modernize their technology landscape, we are seeking a senior executive to lead their Infrastructure Strategy and Engineering function.

This is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the CIO. You will be responsible for defining the strategic roadmap and overseeing the delivery of core infrastructure services that support the firm's global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategy, design, and engineering of the firm's core infrastructure. You will act as the bridge between high-level business goals and technical execution, ensuring the technology roadmap supports the firm’s regional growth.
• Infrastructure Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle - from planning to build of critical infrastructure domains, including Data Centers, Compute/Storage, Common Platforms, and End-User Computing (EUC).
• Modernization & Standardization: Champion the shift toward a centralized, standardized, and highly automated environment. You will drive initiatives to reduce technical debt, improve scalability, and future-proof the firm’s architecture.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure all infrastructure solutions are designed for high availability, stability, and resilience, meeting the rigorous demands of a 24/7 Financial Services environment.
• Commercial & Financial Governance: managing the investment portfolio for infrastructure projects. You will ensure technology choices are "fit for purpose," optimizing cost-efficiency while delivering maximum business value.
• Risk & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal risk controls, ensuring the infrastructure remains secure and compliant across all operating jurisdictions.

• Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy with experience in budget management, vendor strategy, and investment planning.
