Job Responsibilities
1. Strategic Supplier Development and Management
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, certification, and relationship management for key Asia-Pacific (APAC) and global categories (e.g., electronic components, software, hardware, services), establishing long-term strategic partnerships.
- Develop supplier tiering strategies, optimize the supplier base, and ensure supply chain resilience and cost competitiveness.
2. Cost Optimization and Value Creation
- Drive annual cost reduction targets (e.g., 5-15% cost savings) through market analysis, competitive bidding, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) modeling, and negotiations.
- Identify end-to-end value enhancement opportunities in the supply chain, including technical substitutions, localization alternatives, and process efficiency improvements.
3. Global Procurement Strategy Development and Execution
- Formulate regional and global procurement strategies based on business needs and market trends, supporting supply chain implementation for New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production projects.
- Collaborate with cross-regional teams (R&D, quality, production, logistics) to ensure supplier technical alignment, delivery reliability, and risk mitigation.
4. Contract and Compliance Management
- Lead global supplier contract negotiations (e.g., LTAs, NDAs, pricing agreements) to ensure terms align with corporate interests and compliance standards (e.g., antitrust, trade controls).
- Monitor supplier performance (QCDS : Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service), drive continuous improvement, and manage supplier exit mechanisms.
5. Market and Risk Intelligence
- Analyze external risks such as raw material price volatility, geopolitical factors, and industry regulations, developing contingency plans (e.g., dual‑source development, inventory strategies).
- Deliver regular reports on supply chain trends to support data‑driven decision‑making for senior management.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in supply chain management, electronic engineering, automotive engineering, business administration, or related fields.
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with at least 3 years in the automotive electronics, autonomous driving, or consumer electronics industries.
- Familiarity with automotive‑grade supply chain standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
- Experience in global supply chain management within multinational corporations, including leading cross‑regional projects (e.g., Asia‑Pacific suppliers supplying to 欧美 factories).
3. Core Skills
Professional Competencies :
- Proficient in end‑to‑end supplier development (RFQ → evaluation → onboarding → performance management) and cost analysis tools (Should‑Cost, BOM breakdown).
- Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms), tariff policies, and logistics optimization.
Technical Tools :
- Skilled in ERP systems (SAP / Ariba), data analytics tools (Power BI / Tableau), and e‑sourcing platforms.
Language Proficiency :
- Fluent in English (working proficiency); additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Korean) are a plus.
