Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Head of FormTeachers to oversee student operations, form teacher management, studentaccommodation, and administrative governance. This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring high student satisfaction, regulatorycompliance, and smooth day-to‑day school operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with academic, student services, marketing, and management teams to maintain operational excellence and a positive student experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Student Operations & Form Teacher Management
  • Leadand oversee the Form Teacher Unit, ensuring effective studentsupport and communication.
  • MonitorForm Teacher performance against KPIs and institutional standards.
  • Reviewand refine KPIs and SMART targets for Form Teachers.
  • Conductweekly Form Teacher meetings and ensure proper documentation.
  • Overseestudent orientation programmes, assemblies, and weekly announcements.
  • Ensuretimely and accurate communication to students and parents.
  • Reviewstudent survey data and prepare analysis reports for management.
  • Investigatestudent feedback and complaints, coordinate follow-up actions, andrecommend process improvements.
  • Ensureaccurate and timely updates to student records and the Student InformationSystem (SIS).
2. Student Experience & Retention
  • Monitorand control student dropout rates (excluding academic-relatedwithdrawals).
  • Overseestudent leave application processes in compliance with Edutrust andregulatory standards.
  • Reviewand update relevant student-related policies and procedures annually.
  • Ensureproper onboarding, training, and development of Form Teachers, includingcounselling and student management skills.
3. Student Accommodation Oversight
  • Overseestudent accommodation operations.
  • Establishand monitor discipline inspection routines.
  • Coordinateweekend activity schedules in collaboration with student activity staff.
  • Investigateand manage accommodation-related complaints and reports.
4. Administration & Corporate Governance
  • Headthe Administration function, including supervision of Board Secretaryduties.
  • Overseecompany registration matters, resolutions, contract management, andproperty-related documentation.
  • Supportstrategic initiatives such as campus expansion or property sourcing whenrequired.
5. Stakeholder & Cross-Department Collaboration
  • Workclosely with Student Discipline, Student Activities, CCA, Marketing, andManagement teams.
  • Actas a key liaison between the school, students, parents, and internalstakeholders.
6. Other Duties
  • Performany additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’sdegree or higher in Education, Business Administration, Management, or arelated field.
  • Minimum5–8 years of relevant experience in operations management,preferably in an education or student-focused environment.
  • Provenleadership experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strongunderstanding of student support systems, compliance requirements, andoperational governance.
  • Excellentcommunication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-orientedwith strong documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Familiaritywith Edutrust or similar regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
