Head of Commercial Finance,RDC

The Head of Commercial Finance, RDC is a critical role within the Allianz Technology CFO / CTO3 structure to support the Gearshift 2.0 Project Governance Structure and business operationalization of the Regional Delivery Centre (“RDC”) based in Malaysia. The role entails leadership in pricing, cost control, KPI management, RDC service financial modeling and strategic alignment. The Head of Commercial Finance, RDC will serve as a critical steward, fostering efficiency, cost savings, and alignment with the Allianz Group strategy in setting up the commercial service operations of Malaysia RDC. This role has a direct reporting line to the Regional Finance Manager for CTO3 to be fully aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish RDC Commercial operations compliant with Allianz Technology Standards.
• Support Service Owners to operationalise pricing, chargeback, and billing of new RDC Services to Asia Operating Entities (“OEs”).
• Ensure completion of Gearshift 2.0 business cases for remaining OEs
• Operationalize "Business Case Controlling Framework", including results update, establishment of savings tracking mechanism.
• Oversight for Accenture invoicing and payment process and reconciliation with business case assumptions.
• Support Allianz Technology Finance related to aspects of Tax treatments, including exposure to Permanent Establishment risk (PE) and WHT.
• Advise on Forex implications of invoicing, payments and reporting. Ensure risks are promptly highlighted, understood and mitigated.
• Support Asia Account manager Team in commercial discussions with Customers.
• Partner with leadership teams to assist the delivery of business plans, board obligations and projects.
• Identify, implement and lead cost steering and control processes
• Act as the key interface to communicate financial outcomes, and escalation of issues and initiatives that require broader leadership involvement
• Maintain collaborative working relationships with the wider functional communities to advocate on behalf and build capability to better service key stakeholders. Global and other ad hoc requests for analyses including post‑mortem analysis of business case savings.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA / CFA preferred).
• Extensive (over 10 years’) experience in financial management and commercial business case tracking and validation.
• Expertise in managing IT budgets (€500m - €1bn), with experience driving cost savings and ensuring financial transparency.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate with senior management and clients of Allianz Technology and align demand management across multi‑year plans.
